What is EASI?

E.A.S.I. stands for Economics Access Station on Internet. This is a website for dissemination of economic knowledge hosted by the Institute for Market Economics. The main services that the E.A.S.I. site provides include introductory materials in economics, glossary of economic notions, translations of prominent writers and scholars, lecture courses, discussion forum and navigation tools for the global network.

We believe that improved understanding of economic principles and broader debate over significant economic issues and ideas would benefit everyone. Thus we spur competition and entrepreneurship, induce more opportunities and save expensive mistakes for both the citizenry and the government.

The E.A.S.I. website is managed by Krassen Stanchev and Latchezar Bogdanov who bear the entire responsibility for the selection of topics and materials. The logo was created by Gredi Assa; the design of the web site was developed by Mega Pro Design, Ltd.
